2023 Seniors

2023 VC Senior Kiavi Luh
I have been swimming at Victoria since I was 7 years old. From being a drowning expert to becoming a certified swim coach my Victoria Vikings family has taught me trust, cohesion and responsibility. I am grateful for my time at Victoria and will cherish all the memories and life long friendships I have made. Upon graduating from Riverside Poly High School, I will continue my education at the University of California, Santa Barbara in the fall. Thank you coach Blossom and my Victoria family! Now I am also a forever Viking! GO VICTORIA!

2023 VC Senior Reese McCarty
I have been swimming at Victoria Club since I was 4 years old! I am beyond grateful for all the amazing friendships and memories this team has given me. Some of favorite memories from the last 13 years are fun Fridays, playing steal the bacon, constant visits to the snack bar, and the kickoff and finals party (where i used to jump on the older coaches begging them to throw me and now the kids are doing that to me). The summers spent at Victoria Club have shaped my childhood and I am so grateful to be coaching along with a few of my best friends and helping kids have the same experiences that I did. I graduated from Riverside Poly High School where I was on varsity swim and water polo for 4 years and water polo captain for 3 years. In the fall I will be attending UCLA and majoring in political science on the pre-law track. Thankfully, I have one summer left coaching, I can’t begin to imagine not spending my summer on the Victoria Club pool deck. GO VIKINGS!!!

2023 VC Senior Peter Krieger

Peter Krieger will be attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the fall of 2023 and will be studying Landscape Architecture. Peter became a Viking at the age of 4, and has worked his way up to a coach. Following his two older siblings who enjoyed the same experience. Once a Viking, always a Viking. Truly some of the greatest memories of my life.

2023 VC Senior Eric Rowe

The Sunkist League has been a cherished part of my life for most of my life. As a passionate participant in this competitive sports league, I have created countless memories that will forever hold a special place in my heart. Including the time when I was younger and would jump off the driving board countless times.  One particular recent memory that stands out was last year's season and it was during a thrilling relay where our team, fueled by determination and teamwork, emerged victorious with me pulling ahead in a close finish. Looking ahead, my future plans involve continuing my involvement in swimming. Whether as a college swimmer or club swimmer I am committed to contributing to the growth and success of my swimming career and my team.   I aspire to inspire young athletes and help foster a love for the sport that has given me so much joy and fulfillment.  Thank you to coach Blossom and all my teammates for wonderful memories.
